Club Nacional’s 2018 home kit’s sleeve have a gloss effect inspired by shirt that the team wore in 1988 when it won the Copa Libertadores de América and the Intercontinental Cup double. The blue and red cuffs are also based classic kit. Club Nacional’s nickname of “DECANO” and and the logo of their under renovation Estadio Gran Parque Central are printed on the jersey’s outside upper back.
The shirt’s inside neckline has the text: “Club Nacional de Football – Tricampeón del Mundo” (Nacional Football Club – Three-time World Champion) in recognition of the team’s three Intercontinental Cup titles.
Made with a polyamide fabric, the Club Nacional 2018 Umbro home shirt micro-perforated to improve the moisture dissipation and to prevent sweat from staying on it. The jersey’s sleeves have blue and red cuffs which do not surround the entire sleeve to give athletes more flexibility when playing. The red and blue of the Nacional crest appear throughout the new kit.
